We celebrate and remember our friend Jude Exantus with the 3rd memorial golf tournament and auction.  Proceeds go to his family to help with lost income and contribute to the college funds for his 3 children.  We are aiming to raise $10,000 again this year !  

Jude grew up in Haiti and moved to the U.S. after surviving the 2010 Earthquake.  He and his wife, Claudia (Dadou), worked tirelessly to provide a life and a home in Wethersfield to raise TJ, Layla, and Jayden.

Jude was the Youth Leader at Wethersfield United Methodist Church (www.wethersfieldchurch.org).  The youth knew him affectionately as “Cool Jude"; he brought a smile and faithful energy to all activities.  Jude was a wonderful singer and drummer, a trusted friend, and the life of the party.  

If you had the pleasure of meeting him, it’s likely that you instantly gained a new friend.  Jude was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2019 and passed away at age 43 on March 4, 2021.  We were privileged to have had Jude in our lives; he touched us all.
